For over two thousand years, lingzhi was one of the rarest treasures in Chinese medicine, kept for emperors and the physicians who served them. Today you can find it almost anywhere as a tea, a capsule or a powder.

But drinking it was never going to reach your skin.

The secret has a name: beta-glucans.

Lingzhi's power for skin comes from its beta-glucans (β-1,3/1,6-glucans), long-chain molecules that help skin defend itself, renew and repair.

Teas and powders use the whole mushroom. Most of those beta-glucans stay locked inside tough fibre and spore walls, and whatever survives digestion is spread across your entire body.
